Orion’s milestones in the 1990s

1990: Orion merges with Farmos, its former competitor.

1993: The antidepressant Seronil is introduced and becomes a bestselling preparation.

1995: Orion goes public: it is listed on Helsinki stock exchange.  To commemorate the event, the exchange sends Orion this picture from the 1960s when Orion and its parent company Regulus were added to the brokers’ list.

At around the same time, Orion becomes the only Finnish company that is still manufacturing drugs in Finland.
